Monitoring and Troubleshooting Your Job Search

If you're having problems finding a new job, you will want to take a look at the problems you may be having so that you can start diagnosing where you need to take action.
Job seekers generally experience trouble in two areas:
  • They are applying for jobs, but not getting interviews.
  • They are getting interviews, but not getting job offers.
The "fixes" for these problems depend on the troubles you are having. If you're not getting interviews, then there's little point in focusing on your interview performance. You need to focus on fixing what may be stopping employers from talking to you.
