What Happens in a Career Club Meeting

All online Career Club meetings happen through Google Hangouts, a service that allows us to do video-conferencing with up to 9 other people. You can learn more about participating through Google Hangouts here.

Each session lasts about an hour and is facilitated by a professional job search coach. During the session, we will:
  • Discuss your weekly job search goals.
  • Plan your job search activities for the week.
  • Troubleshoot any problems you are having in your job search so you can get advice and feedback on how to deal with any issues that may have come up.
The goal of each Career Club meeting is to provide you with ongoing support, guidance and advice.

Career Club meetings will also help you stay on track with your job search, providing you with the accountability and peer support that is most helpful when you are looking for work.

IMPORTANT--Please note that because space is limited, you are required to pre-register for a Career Club session. If we reach the limit, then we will let you know and will put you on a waiting list.

Also, if you have signed up but are unable to attend, then please email us at nccareerclub@gmail.com as soon as possible so that others may participate in your place.
